My cat (Audrey) woke up from surgery today!
She was getting the other half of her thyroid removed (it was too risky to remove it all at once). She woke up just fine and started to try to clean herself.
I was very worried all morning that she wouldn't pull through surgery--that she just wouldn't wake up.
I'm so happy she's alive!

Love is good, and today is a good day. Audrey is the miracle kitten.
Yeah! I'm glad that Audrey pulled through. She's quite a tough kitty!
